MEET DOULA ALIX MYERS
Founder & Doula, TENDER.LY
Alix Myers is the heart behind TENDER.LY, a doula practice rooted in compassion, evidence-based care, and deep respect for each family’s lived experience. Before becoming a doula, Alix spent over 20 years leading brand strategy and communication in some of North America's most influential marketing agencies. But it wasn’t until she became a parent herself—navigating birth, postpartum recovery, and the rollercoaster of early parenthood—that she discovered her true vocation: supporting families during one of the most transformative times of their lives.
After training with YogaMamas and Bebomia, Alix deepened her expertise through specialized certifications in Mental Health First Aid, infant feeding, and trauma-informed care. She also studied with ND Birth, developing a nuanced understanding of how to provide affirming and accessible support for neurodivergent parents and families. Today, her work is focused on bridging the gap between mainstream perinatal care and the real-world needs of those who often feel unseen or misunderstood in traditional systems.
At TENDER.LY, Alix provides a full spectrum of care—from birth planning and feeding support, to postpartum recovery, partner guidance, and virtual consultations. Whether she’s holding a newborn so a parent can take their first solo shower in days, helping a couple map out roles before baby arrives, or guiding a client through the sensory overwhelm of early feeding, her goal remains the same: to help every parent feel more grounded, more equipped, and more themselves.
What sets Alix apart is her intentional focus on neurodivergent family care. She understands that one-size-fits-all approaches rarely work—especially for those with ADHD, autism, PDA profiles, sensory processing differences, or executive function challenges. Her approach is highly personalized, strengths-based, and low-pressure, creating space for clients to show up exactly as they are.
Based just outside of Montreal, Alix works with families locally and virtually, offering support that is nonjudgmental, collaborative, and profoundly human. Her clients often describe her as the person who “just gets it”—someone who brings both practical solutions and emotional steadiness to the most tender seasons of life.
Above all, Alix believes that every family deserves care that honors their neurotype, their values, and their pace. Whether you're expecting your first baby or navigating the first chaotic months with a newborn, she’s here to walk beside you—offering tools, compassion, and care tailored to your way of being.
